all I ask for in the new star wars films is leia with a lightsaber
I don’t think they give non-force sensitives lightsabers, but I also don’t think they’ve established Leia as force sensitive or not, so who knows

Leia is just as much a basket of potential-Jedi as Luke is.

Who TF thinks Leia isn’t force-sensitive???!?!?!??!?! It’s literally right there, in the original trilogy. She has just as much Force as Luke. I don’t necessarily think she needs to develop it, really, because she is just as badass as a General/politician, but she certainly has it.

We even see her in the new movie reacting to a terrible event she has no other way of knowing happened, clearly able to sense it happening. Like Obi Wan in ep 4 did! Because she’s Force Sensitive!
I’m here to talk about diversity. Diversity in the modern world is more than just skin colour. It’s gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, social background, and - most important of all, as far as I’m concerned – diversity of thought. Because if you have genuine diversity of thought among people making TV & film, then you won’t accidentally shut out any of the groups I just mentioned.

when elephants first arrive at the orphanage they are often traumatized from having witnessed the slaughter of their mothers and family by poachers. grieving can last several months, and they often lose the will to live. but as dame daphne sheldrick, founder of the orphanage, explains, a caretaker is charged with “persuading an elephant to live when it wants to die.”
approximately 35,000 elephants are killed by humans every year. with an estimated 350,000 elephants left in the whole continent of africa, they will be gone in the wild within ten years.

Joss Whedon spent at least half an hour of the two hours of movie time during The Avengers to dedicate to the relationship between Clint and Natasha. They obviously have a very deep and personal bond, he spared her life and gave her a second chance and she used it to join the good side. Throughout the whole movie they show time and time again that they care more about each other's safety than anything else. Not to mention that little Easter egg in Captain America 2, that arrow necklace that Natasha is wearing when they're in their casual clothes. The franchise was obviously setting up for Natasha and Clint to become an item, and what the fuck happens in Age of Ultron? They just throw that out the fucking window, all that buildup for nothing, all that PERFECTLY GOOD CHEMISTRY FOR NOTHING jesus fucking christ I can't take it
